Brenda was a rainbow

her colors showing bright

she truly was refreshing

when things weren't going right

Her blue was for her loyalty

to family and to friends

defending them all the way

until the bitter end

Her yellow was her shining smile

it made our day feel better

It was if the sun came out

no matter what the weather

Her red was for her courage

in every battle she was strong

standing firm and solid

knowing what was right from wrong

Her green was for the game she loved

it's the color of her home run ball

She blew away each team we met

On the mound, so proud and tall

Her purple was her passions

and Christ was truly one

so much so he called her home

her stay on earth was done

So, next time you see a rainbow

with its colors shining bright

Just know that its our Brenda

telling us she doing all right!

God took you away. It doesn't seem fair, but in the back of my mind, you will always be there.

You weren't a close friend, but our paths did cross, and your absence in this world, is to me a great loss.

You were too young to die, and too innocent to feel that pain. Only heaven benefits, because you it has now gained.

I may think of you a little less with each passing day, but your strength is something I won't forget, you have changed me in a way.

She was very caring and kind

Why did she die

Don’t ask you mind.

The loving smile she had

And she didn’t even have to know you she would share it any way.

From the first time you met her there was that gracious smile

The one that made you happy

So even though we only had her for a short while

I think the pain we feel is worth it
